Our established ABA team has some sought-after openings for therapists looking to improve their skill set and advance in the field.

We have openings for a case manager and a lead therapist on this highly cooperative team. We may also be able to offer exposure in the school system to the right candidate. Instructors looking towards graduate or medical school down the road will want to consider the edge these posts will give you. As well, this is a rare chance to work with consultants Michelle Karren and Dr. Sara White, who, with our expert team, will guide you into the job.

Our 6 year old son has moved quickly through programmes since the age of 2 and a half. Bring your energy! Bring your enthusiasm! And bring your sense of humour – he certainly has one. – Willing to work 2 to 3 shifts per week, 3 hours each shifts

Next in the North Shore ASBC Parent Support lecture series…

Are you new to ABA? Have an established team but are looking for ideas to make it even better? Our first session may well help: the topic is "Starting and Maintaining a Successful ABA Team".

Date: Tuesday, October 16th from 7 -9 p.m.

Location: West Vancouver Memorial Library (Musto Room), located at 1950 Marine Drive in West Van. (between 19th and 20th Streets). The library is easily accessible via Highway #1 (Upper Levels), taking either the 15th Street or 20th St. exits.

The discussion will include:

* Interviewing/hiring therapists

ABA therapist needed in Victoria Oak Bay area for a 6 year old boy. No experience required. Our consultant is Michele Fagan.

Looking for a minimum one year commitment. Team meetings are mandatory and are held bi-weekly on Tuesday evenings. We are looking for a minimum of two shifts with one during the week (Monday to Friday afternoon or evening) and one shift on Saturday (morning or afternoon).

Qualifications:
– At least 19 years old
– Clear criminal record check
– Dependable
– Creative
– Like working with children
– Is a team player
– Able to follow directions with little to no supervision

You will work with a professional team and be trained by one of the best Autistic Behavioral Consultants in BC. You will learn the discrete trial method including data collection. At the end of your work period I will provide you with a reference.

Looking for someone who:
– Is Nice and likes children
– Has good communication skills
– Is dependable
– Is over 19 years of age

Shifts:
This position requires a commitment of 2-3 shifts per week consisting of 2-3 hours each plus attendance at a monthly team meeting. Shifts would take place between 9am and 5pm, throughout the week. First hired gets to choose times. Sessions would take place in our home.

Pay will be based on experience.

Line Therapist – Fleetwood area

Looking for one to two enthusiastic, fun, reliable individuals to work in home as a Behaviour Interventionist with our high functioning 4 year old son who's developing a sense of humour. Must be at least 19 years old, have a car, and able to commit for one year minimum. Shifts range from morning to early evenings. Experience an asset, however, training will be provided. We are lucky to have Kathy DeLisser from Laurel Group M.A.P.C.L. as our consultant.
