Training and Job Requirements:

4 year old son who is high functioning Autistic, social and lots of fun to work with! No experience unnecessary, you will be trained in the ABA method Our team is consulted by Katie Allen and Nate Searle with Able clinic Description of duties:
You will be working in the home of the child diagnosed on the autism spectrum, as part of a multi-disciplinary team. During your sessions when you work one-on-one with the child, you will model age-appropriate play, communication, and social skills. Together with the child, you will play with puzzles, sing songs, dance and build blocks, push cars and trains, and anything else that the child enjoys.
You will incorporate specific goals during play and table-work, and track progress on data-sheets at the end of the session. Each session lasts approximately 3 hours, and you will be asked to work 3-5 sessions per week. Excellent play-skills are required. There will also be a brief team meeting twice a month to discuss the childs progress and discuss any concerns that may arise from the program.Qualifications:
-Must be 19 years or older
Experience with small children a must (paid training detailing specific duties is provided). Any experience with special needs children is a definite asset. Applicants with an education in Psychology, Early Childhood Education, Speech Pathology, Occupational Therapy or Physical Therapy are encouraged to apply.

An enthusiastic and dedicated person is needed to work with our two sons who are on the spectrum. Their programs include occupational therapy, community outings, and peer and sibling play.
We are looking for someone who is sensitive, fun, high energy and enthusiastic. Previous ABA experience and or knowledge of psychology would be an asset, but we are happy to provide training for the right person too.
You need your own transportation. Must have daytime and some weekend availability and because consistency is so important for children, you need to be able to commit to this job for a minimum of 1 year.
Because we would like to hire for both teams, we are able to offer 3 full days of work (6-7 hrs) to the right candidate. We would also be willing to offer flexibility with your schedule if you could only join one team.We are centrally located near 152nd and King George Hwy, so it is a short drive from Langley, White Rock or Delta.
We are under the excellent consultation of Dr. Sara White and Colby Anderson who provide frequent overlaps and lots of feedback. Bi-weekly 1 1/2 hr team meetings are mandatory. Both boy's meetings are back to back, so for both teams this meeting would be 3 hrs.please reply by email to:
