    Behavioural Interventionists Wanted One year commitment required, part-time. We are looking for a fun, energetic person to work with our
    4 year old son who is high functioning Autistic, social and lots of fun to work with! No experience unnecessary, you will be trained in the ABA method Our team is consulted by Katie Allen and Nate Searle with Able clinic Description of duties:
    You will be working in the home of the child diagnosed on the autism spectrum, as part of a multi-disciplinary team. During your sessions when you work one-on-one with the child, you will model age-appropriate play, communication, and social skills. Together with the child, you will play with puzzles, sing songs, dance and build blocks, push cars and trains, and anything else that the child enjoys.
    You will incorporate specific goals during play and table-work, and track progress on data-sheets at the end of the session. Each session lasts approximately 3 hours, and you will be asked to work 3-5 sessions per week. Excellent play-skills are required. There will also be a brief team meeting twice a month to discuss the childs progress and discuss any concerns that may arise from the program.

    Qualifications:
    -Must be 19 years or older
    Experience with small children a must (paid training detailing specific duties is provided). Any experience with special needs children is a definite asset. Applicants with an education in Psychology, Early Childhood Education, Speech Pathology, Occupational Therapy or Physical Therapy are encouraged to apply.
    The candidates are required to be self-motivated, extremely reliable, enthusiastic, and possess excellent communication skills. A car and a valid drivers license is a great asset.

    We are looking for ABA therapists in a home based program for our 2 and a half years old son in coming May in RICHMOND.

    Both Experienced and new therapists are welcome !

    Requirements :

    -part time work, one on one with the child for 2-3 hours, 2- 4 days a week;
    -love to work/ play with children, with warm, caring and patience personality;
    -Good judgment and problem solving skills;
    -Fun and energetic;
    -able to make 12 months commitment;
    -Experience with autistic children and/ or ABA preferred but not necessary, training will be provided with on going support;
    -Studying in the field of Psychology, Education, Child Development is an asset;
    -Criminal record checked.

    Classroom Aide Needed

    Learn how to do it from a BCBA with a PhD in ABA!

    We need a therapist to go to school with the cutest 6-year-old in the world.

    Our senior consultant is Dr. Sara White, a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst with a PhD in Clinical Psychology specializing in ABA.

    Training will also be provided by Bernadette Marzo, a first-class professional with 10 years of experience in this field.

    in School in September

    Burnaby family looking for individual to be trained as home therapist
    and Educational Assistant for their 13-year-old son.

    This child has been involved in an intensive ABA program for 10 years and he will be starting high school in September.

    Training and Job Requirements:
    ——————————-
    * Training will begin immediately in the home program.

    * The selected individual must work at home for min 2 shifts per week

    *If you become the EA after the new school year begins, you will also
    need to do min 1 shift per week at home.

    * Attendance at bi-weekly team meetings and monthly consultant visits is mandatory.

    * Experience supporting people with autism in inclusive settings is an asset. If you are a psychology/education-majored graduate with no
    experience, you are still welcomed to apply. We will discuss the training plan.

    * Experience working with children is preferred.

    * We would prefer a 2-year commitment as this child will be transitioning to highschool and will benefit hugely from staff consistency.

    We are looking to hire 1 more behavioral interventionist to work with our 4 year old autistic son. He is a happy and energetic little boy who loves attention.

    We are looking for a bright, reliable, energetic interventionist. Applicants must work well on a team, be willing to take feedback and direction from our consultants, Dr. Sara White and Michelle Karren, and have a current criminal record check.

    We expect you to make a 1 year commitment to at least 2 shifts per week , attend bi-weekly team meetings on Fridays from 3:45-5:45pm, and maintain professional standards.
