Training will be provided.
Position may lead to preschool aide position in September

Therapist will be responsible for:

* Conducting discrete trial training
* Taking ongoing data
* Facilitating play skills and verbal skills

Available shifts are mainly from 4-6pm or 6:30-8:30 pm.
Team meetings are on the first Thursday of every month from 6-7:30pm.
Sessions run 7 days a week.
Wage is based on experience.

Recently, we used it in an air travel and it was a life saver.
Most likely, we would not do any more air travel this year.
We figure maybe another family can make use of it.

I think a new one is about $80 from Future Shop or Best Buy. However, this one has the extra external battery.

The external battery gives about twice power of the on-board battery.
My boy watched more than 3 DVDs just by using the on-board battery (using a headphone).

We are seeking a tutor (preferably with some ABA experience) to work with our 9 year old son who has Asperger’s Syndrome. His nonintensive programs consist of play dates, outings and social debriefing. He has been in an ABA program for 4 ½ years. Our behavioural consultant is Dr. Sara White.

We are looking to fill one to two after school shifts per week (3:15 PM to 5:15 PM) with the possibility of more hours during the summer months. Team meetings are held monthly. Training will be provided. If you are bright, reliable, creative, compassionate, eager to learn and have excellent play skills, please contact us! You must be at least 19 years of age with a clear criminal record check, have a reliable vehicle and be able to commit to at least one year.

Medicare for Autism Now in Ontario

It's been an excellent day for our FEAT of BC representatives campaigning in Bracebridge, Ont. Jean Lewis has now met with one of the reporters from the Bracebridge Examiner – he will do a story which will reach all of the community newspapers in the riding.

FEAT's campaign information has been left at the Hospital,Library, Legion, the Medical Centre and even the local Conservative Party's Riding Association office.

Tomorrow they will meet with the Huntsville Forester and the Parry Sound North Star. They will also be "papering" Huntsville and Perry Sound with brochures, and will be paying a visit to Health Minister Tony Clement's constituency offices in Huntsviile and Perry Sound.

Jean Lewis will also be inerviewed by
Ron Corbett of CFRA radio in Ottawa at 1:30 Ontario time. It can be heard live over the internet.
