ABA THERAPIST(S) NEEDED IN EAST VANCOUVER

Our family is eagerly looking for therapists(tutors),to join our home based ABA program that we are running for our very fun-loving, bright, and hard-working 4 year old daughter.

Individuals interested in psychology, education, speech pathology or any other careers involving children are welcome. Enthusiam, dedication, reliability, an open mind and a willingness to learn are most desirable.

You will be supervised by Dr. Sara White, a BCBA and PhD in Clinical Psychology / ABA, and Colby Anderson.

This is a great opportunity to receive training and hands on experience in ABA therapy with minimal initial qualifications. Desired candidates will have lots of energy and patience, strong play skills, a positive attitude and good multi-tasking abilities.

As a therapist you need to be able to commit to: two or three, 3 hour shifts each week, in addition to attending bi-weekly team meetings.

Salary is negotiable and is based on experience; we will require a criminal record check. We will ask that you make a one-year commitment to the team. We are located 5 minutes from the 29th Avenue Sky Train Station.

We are looking for a lunchtime Aide to support our son at School. Our son is in grade 2 at Collingwood School, in West Vancouver. We would like to hire someone to remain discretely in the background and monitor his social interactions with his peers.

This position would be ideal for someone already working on the North Shore, perhaps in between their therapy sessions. The hours would be Monday through Friday from 12:00 – 1:00. ABA experience would be nice, but not necessary.
