Our family is in Burnaby and we are looking for a tutor/therapist for afterschool Tuesdays, Thursdays, 3 hour shifts each day. Experience is preferred but not necessary.

He has a great sense of humor and a wonderful zest to cook simple items during his time with you. He loves space, history and shipwrecks. We are looking for someone who is outgoing, energetic, friendly and motivated to work with our son in the W. Vancouver school district. Our son is an amazingly loving and adorable 9 year old, who will be entering grade 4 at a new school in the fall. We are looking for someone with experience; however this is not a requirement, as we will provide all training.
Requirements of the job entail:
-1:1 therapy with the child in the school setting
-Facilitating social interactions with peers in the classroom and outside
-Attend bi-weekly team meetings, afterschool hours at the childs house, with home-ABA team
-Be willing to attend all consults and meetings (non-negotiable for this position, as consistency is key to this childs success)
-Implement behavior intervention plans in the school setting
-Be fun, goofy and a child-magnet so that other children in the school will want to hang out with you and the child!
-Run group recess and lunch activities with the child and other students.
-Take discrete trial data across the school day on the childs IEP goals.
-Be available for training ASAP!
-Work with the child for 2 sessions per week when training in the school has been completed in June, for the remainder of the summer.
-Must be willing to continue working across the summer, in the home environment, for consistency purposes.
-Be willing to make a 2 year commitment

Experienced Senior Therapist wanted in West Vancouver. !4 yr-old, large male with moderate Autism. Some issues re: impulsivity & aggression so you need to be fit & fearless!
Competitive wages, flexible hours. Crim record check & driver's licence (clean). A great team and a mature (10 yrs +) ABA program, with supervision by Sharon Baxter & Richard M. Foxx.
You will be eased into the role by our present Senior, who will be leaving the team once a suitable candidate is found.
Also – we are looking for someone to fill the role of SEA in school District #45, starting next Fall.
The Senior's job is a part-time position, unless you'd like to combine it with the SEA posting. The latter is subject to meeting all requirements and being hired by the WVSD (#45).

We are looking for someone to take two afternoon shifts a week: Tues & Thurs 4-6p, Fri after 3p or every other weekends; make at least a year's commitment and able to attend team meetings once to twice a month. Shifts are 2 hours in length.
