The family is less worried about the particular day of the week but more interested in one evening out on a consistent basis.

March 6, 2009 at 4:36 am #10524Lis LouwrierParticipantTherapist(s) needed in Victoria
A Victoria-based family has two openings for ABA therapists interested in latter stages of programming for an 8-year old boy with high-functioning autism. The program is under the supervision of Kathryn Theroux of the Able Clinic and the program comes with much direction. Applicants will also learn social thinking development for young children.
Candidates need to have a good sense of humour and a fun, sporty attitude. Floor hockey fans are most welcome as well as strong swimmers. Two shifts are available:
Monday/Wednesdays 3:30-6PM
Tuesday/Thursdays 4-6PMOne shift each week will consist of an outing and/or social skill experience. The other shift will be in-home completing homework-based activities. Please note that home-based programming is very much at the generalized stage and needs to look very much like an average after-school experience for an elementary-aged child.
Applicants must have a clean CRC and driving record.
In return you will work with a hard-working family and a pretty fun bunch.
If this ad speaks to you, please contact Lis @ 250-294-0729 or email: louwrier@shaw.ca.
