Hi all – we are finished with what has been a great place to store and play with all those "Thomas the Tank" and Playmobil items! This train table isn't the "official" Thomas one, but is white, has 6 storage bins underneath and has a 2-sided scene board. Dimensions: 48" long by 32" wide, and 20" high.
I should be able to get you a picture if you want one but couldn't figure out how to attach to this post.
Bought it gently used for $100, would sell for $50.
If interested, please e-mail me privately at andreafinch@shaw.ca with "Train table" in the subject line.
And for those who know what I'm talking about – just try to get that song out of your head for the rest of the afternoon! :0)

Thank you very much again!.April 27, 2009 at 10:02 pm #10583Dione CostanzoParticipantHi everyone!
After reading the Harmony HOuse post about training and being in hiring mode myself (again) I just wanted to reiterate the importance of checking references and verifying experience before hiring personnel for your home team.
All of us have been in the position at one point or another where we are tempted to just hire someone without putting much effort into reference checks. It is SO IMPORTANT to make sure you check references from everyone that you interview and check them thoroughly – regardless of their education or how good they look on paper.
I am now insisting on at least 3 references from previous employers and if it is someone who is experienced or seeking the all important Lead position I would insist on speaking with at least 1 consultant, 2 families and request some sort of written confirmation of hours worked in home ABA programming.
Good luck to all the new AND experienced families seeking line and lead therapists! Remember no therapy is better than bad therapy and it is worth holding out for the right, qualified people.
If anyone wants to discuss screening questions or interview techniques please contact me at dionec@shaw.ca I woud appreciate any advice on improving what I have and am always willing to share my experiences.
Cheers,
DioneApril 27, 2009 at 4:44 am #10584Kimberley YoshiharaMemberPlease disregard the previous posting, the following is the correct information.
