Posting for the family I was helping before.
Hi all,
Thank you very much to some of the therapists (even though there were not many) who were interested in applying for the positions I posted for the family whom I helped before. And thanks so much to the parents who were so supportive to send emails with recommendations/information of the available consultants.
This family has decided to not start the ABA program at this moment and they will be taking a vacation for a couple months before they start the program for their son.
I will post another update when they are back from their vacation and if they decide to run the program in the future.
My appologies for any inconvenience.July 10, 2009 at 4:51 pm #10610Nancy RobinsParticipantParents: please pass this information on to all your ABA Instructors.

July 7, 2009 at 7:07 pm #10617Susie MorantzMemberABA THERAPIST NEEDED IN RICHMOND!!!
Great news!!! We have an opening for an experienced ABA therapist who is fun, engaging and energetic to join our 3 and a half year old son's in-home ABA program in Richmond. He is a fun, social, little guy who is verbal, loves people and learns fast! Our program has been in place for over a year and is under the supervision of our Behavioral Consultant, Michele Shilvock and Harmony House. If you love kids, are responsible and dependable and can commit to 5-10 hours per week, then please join our team.
You will work one-on-one with our son; model age-appropriate play, communication, and social skills; and take data. You will incorporate specific goals during play and table-work, and track progress on data-sheets at the end of each session.
All training will be provided on site with ongoing supervision. This is a great opportunity for applicants who welcome frequent overlaps and opportunities to further develop their skills. You must be at least 19 years old and have a criminal record check completed prior to starting.
We would prefer experienced applicants, but will accept inexperienced applicants, and will pay appropriately.
Please email Susie at esj016@hotmail.com or call 604-275-9375 to apply & make a difference in a childs life.
