Behaviour Interventionist needed to join our established ABA home team – Pitt Meadows (near the Pitt Meadows arena)
We are looking for a reliable, outgoing, playful and energetic BI for our almost 4 year old son. Our son is verbal, high energy, friendly and affectionate. He loves numbers and letters, loves to run and play outside, sing, do puzzles and look at books. He knows a lot about Dinosaurs and loves showing all his dino toys. He also really enjoys learning something new! You will be working on ABA goals / programs that our behaviour consultant will create. NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY! Training will be provided and will start as soon as possible. BCBA is Julee Bassetto. Wages are dependent on qualifications.
Days & Times:
For July: Monday, Wednesday and Friday: 2:30 – 4:30 & Tuesday & Thursday: 8:30 – 10:45.
For August: Monday – Saturday 8:30 – 10:45
September schedule still to be determined

Our son is non verbal. Previous experience working with kids with autism would be fantastic, but is not essential. Training will be provided with ongoing support from behaviour consultant and speech therapist.
Reuirements:
- Flexible schedule.
- Be able to attend team meetings once a month.
- Able to make at least one year commitment.
- Take two days shifts per week.
- Providing us with the criminal record check is absolutely necessary.

We are looking for a positive, energetic, self-motivated individual to join our team and work with our 12 year old son with autism as his Support Worker at his South Surrey School (ABA Support Worker).
Our son is going to Grade 7 in Sept and we are looking for someone to start doing home ABA sessions now and then transition with him to school in Sept in the Surrey School District. You will have to apply for the school district (or already be employed by them).
Responsibilities include working 1:1 with the child in the school, home and/or community and taking data on multiple program targets, communicating with supervisors. In September, responsibilities will be supporting the student in his school environment, and attending one meeting at home after school every 2 weeks.
BCBA supervision provided by Nicki Sweeney and Krista Zambolin.
Qualifications: A successful applicant MUST
-Have a current criminal record check (or be willing to complete one)
-20 years or older
-Experience with young children, preferably special needs
-Ability to take and apply constructive feedback
-Have at least 1,000 hours of in home ABA experience
-Able to work independently as well as part of a team
-Be able to commit to a minimum of 1 year
-Have a desire to work in the Surrey School System as an ABA Support WorkerSessions and team meetings are 2 hours on Wednesdays after school

We are looking for two reliable, caring and enthusiastic Behaviour Interventionists (one senior level) to work at our home in the Seymour area of North Vancouver with our 6-year-old boy diagnosed with ASD. The BI’s will work under the supervision and guidance of Behaviour Consultant Sarah Dungait.
The senior level candidate should have previous experience working as a senior BI, which includes guiding and shadowing junior team members during ABA sessions. Previous ABA experience is desirable but not necessary for the second junior to intermediate level candidate. All candidates must be at least 19 years old and have a valid driver’s license.
The sessions will be 2 hours long and will take place after school between the hours of 3:30 and 6:30pm. Attendance is also required at semi-monthly team meetings. Salary will be based on qualifications, experience, and performance.

Applicants should be fun, energetic, patient, kind, self-directed, and punctual. They should be at least 19 years of age, have strong communication, play and organizational skills. Prior experience with running ABA sessions/ABA theory training, collecting data using various methods and having personal reinforcers are assets, but not required. Applicants must be able to commit to a monthly team meeting in addition to their regular sessions.
Sessions ideally would take place in the afternoon from 12:45 onward, although morning sessions would be possibly considered for the right applicant. Days and times are flexible. Sessions will be approximately 2-2.5 hours long.
The behavioural interventionists will work under the supervision and guidance of Shawna Poznikoff (BCBA) and Dr. Sara White (BCBA).

Hello, my current BI is leaving in September, so I would like to start looking for an experienced BI (ABA experience) for my 8 years old daughter that is non-verbal but very happy and has been doing ABA for over 5 years. The sessions will be after school. We have a well settled home based ABA team supervised by BCBA Angie Ho. The wage will be based on experience. Sessions will be Tuesday to Thursday from 3.30-5.30pm.
