Mand Training the Art of Teaching to Request

This presentation will introduce the topic of manding and the importance manding plays in the area of communication for children with autism. Video clip examples will be used in the presentation.

We need people who are bright, fun-loving with excellent play skill, love working with children, motivated, reliable & patient with positive attitude. Some knowledge in related fields such as psychology, education, speech/language pathology etc., MUST have experience working with young children and ABA training will be provided by Dr Sara White & Colby Anderson.
We are looking for someone to take two to three morning or afternoon shifts a week, make at least a year's commitment and able to attend team meetings once to twice a month. Shifts are 2-3 hours in length.
Applicants must be at least 19 years of age with a clear criminal record check & 4 references are mandatory
You must work well on a team, be willing to take feedback and direction from our consultants, be able to take constructive feedback and implement it immediately, and have lots of love, energy and patience for children.

We are looking for ABA tutor as well as SEA working with 6-year-old boy with autism in preschool starting in Jan./Feb.
Qualifications:
Be able to commit to: two/three morning shifts in preschool(Mon., Wed., Fri.)
At least make one-year commitment
Attending team meeting once a month is mandatory
Previous experience working with children with Autism would be fantastic, but is not essential. Training will be provided with ongoing support

I have a University Psychology Degree as well as comprehensive training in Applied Behaviour Analysis, Advanced Milieu Intervention & RDI. I have worked on strictly Lovaas DTT-based teams as well as in Milieu Therapy teams.
I have experience working with Speech Language Pathologists & ABA EAs including training & school liaison.
I have worked with children all over the ASD spectrum from the ages of 3 to 9.
I have worked as a Lead Therapist as well as a line therapist & have preformed consultant duties to assist case consultants.
In the work, I am currently involved in: discrete trial teaching, behaviour modification, token economy application/management, cognitive skills, emotional comprehension, task abilities, social outings, (eg: Walks, the Bus, Gymnastics, Swimming & Easter Seals Camp Personal Support Worker.)I care very much about my work and put %110 into it. I can & will do everything from tablework, data collection, functional behaviour analysis collection, social outings, incidental/natural teaching and social training. I routinely exceed the requirements or expectations of my clients.
I am currently continuing my University education and am now acquiring the requirements to become a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA / BCaBA) through coursework and session-hours. I plan to remain in Victoria for the next few years.

I live in the Abbotsford area and I'm looking to get into work as a BI. I have a four yeard old son with autism. Now that he's in pre-school five days a week. I'm available to work in the mornings. We have an ABA program running at home for the past the past two years. I've sat in for every training, workshop and meeting. I also do respite for my nephew who also has autism. I would definitely like to be trained again for programs that is set up and customized for your child.
