BI/ABA-SW needed in North Surrey

Hello all,

We are currently looking for an experienced BI at (or near) the 1000 hours required to become an ABA-SW with our son next year. He is 6yrs old and will be going into Grade 2 in north Surrey this September.

My son is bright, creative, and playful. He loves paw patrol, Just Dance & trampoline, and all arts and crafts.

On May 10th, 6pm to 8pm at Capilano University, Katie Allen M.S., BCBA will be presenting on the Functional Analysis of Problem Behaviour.
This event is open for all interested.

Individuals with ASD and other special needs may often display a variety problem behaviours; this may include aggression, property destruction, self-injury and tantrums among many others. Often, these behaviours may significantly impact an individual’s, and their family’s, day to day life. Functional analysis is an assessment used to determine the function of behaviour (why an individual behaves the way they do), and helps determine the most effective treatment.

In her presentation, Katie will discuss what functional analysis is, general methodology, as well as relevant case studies and examples. Katie will also illustrate how sometimes results of functional analysis can be undifferentiated and idiosyncratic in nature, and further analysis is needed.

ABA SW Position Available

We are looking for someone who is interested in filling a full time ABA-SW position starting in September 2017 at Surrey Centre Elementary.  Our son will be entering Grade 3.  He has been in a home ABA program for 6 years, and has an involved and supportive family.  BCBA consultant support is provided by Lindsay Parrott.  Training will begin as soon as possible both in the home and school setting.  If you have or are nearing 1,000 hours of ABA experience, are collaborative and able to multi-task please contact mastersmindcreative@gmail.com with a cover letter and resume with references.  You will be contacted for an interview upon review of your qualifications.  We look forward to hearing from you!

We are looking for one or two dedicated, reliable and energetic ABA Behaviour Interventionists in the Cloverdale area. Our son is in Grade 2 and we are looking for someone to run  2 hour sessions after school.  Session days are flexible. ABA experience is not required but is an asset.  BCBA consultant support is provided by Lindsay Parrott.  Training will ideally begin as soon as possible.

We are looking for creative, reliable, energetic, and motivated individuals with excellent play skills. Experience in ABA is an asset. All applicants must be collaborative, punctual, and available to attend monthly team meetings in addition to their regular sessions. The ideal candidate may work with us towards the goal of being hired as an ABA SW in the Surrey School District (SD36) in the Fall of 2017.

<b>ABA Behavior Interventionist Needed (Coquitlam)</b>

Looking for a Behavior Interventionist to join our home-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) team to work with our 7 year-old daughter.  Super smart and lots of fun, she loves music, dancing, video games, and has a wild imagination!

We’re looking for an energetic and responsible candidate who has knowledge of ABA and Autism to be part of our team for sessions after school several times a week in Coquitlam (Dawes Hill). You will be working under the supervision of BCBA Behavioral Consultant Colby Anderson in an established program.  The program includes monthly team meetings on Monday mornings.

Qualifications:  At least 19 years old with some ABA education, and clear criminal record check completed.  Strong play skills and quick thinking needed!  Experience is preferred, but if you have some ABA education or relevant experience you will be considered.

SEEKING: ABA-SW in Surrey for Fall 2017

We are currently seeking an ABA-SW (or person who has close to 1000 hours) who is interested in supporting our 4-year-old daughter entering kindergarten in the Surrey School District (Newton area) for the fall of 2017.  This position includes the possibility of first joining our home team for rapport building and familiarization of home programming.  Our daughter is highly socially motivated, verbal and energetic, with a great sense of humor who loves to play with her peers!
