Training and Job Requirements:

* Attendance at bi-weekly team meetings and consultant visits is mandatory.
* Experience supporting people with autism in inclusive settings is an asset.
* Psychology/education-majored students or graduates are preferred. No experience required.
* Experience working with children is preferred.
* Minimum 1-year commitment.
* Must be willing to work min. 1 night shift (7:00pm 9:30pm) and weekend shifts.

We are currently seeking a behaviour interventionist to work with a fun boy with autism who will be entering Grade 6 in September. This home-based ABA program is supervised by Sharon Baxter and Sarah Pastrana. Experience is preferred. This would be an excellent opportunity for those seeking more experience to work with a student in a unique program focusing on advanced academics and social skills.
We are currently seeking a tutor to fill 2 two-hour shifts per week during after-school hours; days may be flexible. Wage is negotiable depending on experience. A time commitment of a minimum of 1 year is requested.

who is active, mature, 25yrs or older. to take her to the gym or swimming or something active, 1 a week. We live 5 min. from the gym, 10 min. from pool etc.
She lives with me. She is very verbal and independant, but responds better to pic symbols or social stories and humor..
$15.00 an hr. plus gas money. needs a car.

We have outgrown our trampoline so if you are interested it is free to anyone who is willing to pick it up in West Van. It is 13 feet across and is all taken apart and ready to go, it is in good condition as we only set it up for the summer. It should fit in the trunk/backseat of most cars.
