Behaviour Interventionist needed in West Vancouver, Caulfeild area to work with a 21-year old male with ASD. No experience necessary. Pay is commensurate with experience. Training will be provided under the supervision of Julee Bassetto, M.Ed, BCBA.

These skills will particularly benefit those entering the fields of Education, Kinesiology, Psychology, SLP, OT, and Health Care.

Applicant must:

We are looking for a dedicated, reliable and mature ABA Behaviour Interventionist with strong social skills in the East Vancouver area. Our son is 21 years old and we are looking for someone to run one 2 hour session a week with him. Session days are flexible and are scheduled around his work shifts each month so flexibility is required, including evenings when possible. Programming focuses on social, behavioral and vocational skills. A valid driver’s license or reliable form of transportation is required, however, ABA experience is not. BCBA consultant support is provided by Lindsay Parrott and Dr. Sara White. Training will ideally begin as soon as possible.

You won’t leave without a smile on your face! He also has a lot of cool interests – like power tools, leaf blowers, sprinklers, and vacuums. Training and ongoing coaching and support will be provided by our BCBA consultant, Sarah Pastrana.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Monitoring data trends
• Communicating progress and concerns to consultant and parents
• Maintaining program binders and materials
• Filing completed data sheets and programs
• Maintaining the Long Term Objectives Met file

<u>Hours Required</u>: 2-3 sessions per week for 2-hour sessions after school (one weekend session possible). We are looking for a minimum one year commitment.

I am looking for a fun and energetic BI in North Burnaby to work on social skills with my 11 year old ASD son.

You will meet for 90 minutes once per week, ideally from 3pm-4:30pm.  Day is flexible, Mon, Tues, Wed or perhaps Friday.

You will be given social skills materials to work on during this time. Other activities may include: ‘regular’ conversation, age-appropriate activities such as basketball, soccer, etc.

Preference will be given to applicants who have previous training/experience, particularly with Michele Garcia Winner’s “Social Thinking” methodology.
