Hello Everyone!
I am a part-time student studying Disability & Applied Behavior Analyis @ Douglas College. I'm going onto my second year working in ABA; my previous experience has all been a part of home teams, doing 1:1 interventions with children ranging between the ages of 2 & 9 and I'm looking to continue my experience at this time.
Please feel free to contact via email.
Have a great day!!!
September 15, 2011 at 2:36 pm #7775Sharon BaxterParticipantWe are looking for a new member to join our well established ABA team under the direction of Behavioral Consultant Sharon Baxter. You would be supporting a lower functioning 19 year old male with Autism as well as Mitochondrial disease. He is in his last year of school and we are looking for a BI who has available 2 3 hour shifts per week after schools/or early evenings as well as some occasional extra hours if interested. This position could possibly work into some ongoing support once he finishes his final high school year ending June 2012. Program focuses mainly on communication and life skills and building upon skills in the community as well. Looking for an energetic, dedicated team player. Someone who is committed to making a difference in a young mans life. We are located in Langley. Please call Tammy @ 604-308-9937 for further info or email me at my1tam@telus.net
September 14, 2011 at 8:22 pm #7776Tim CMemberI was wondering if anyone has used Michelle Garcia Winner's Social Detective Interactive CD, and what they thought of it. I'm interested to know if it is appropriate for a child equivalent to Grade 3, or if it is too "babyish" or too easy for that grade level (before I spend $90). Thanks!
My email is aba.team@shaw.ca

September 9, 2011 at 6:01 pm #7783Elaine RaynaultKeymasterLooking for a Lead/Lead to Train in South Surrey
After school (starting at 3) and/or weekend hours to work with sweet 10 year old, low behavior boy. We will train someone new into this position but it would also be an excellent opportunity for someone with some experience to join a multi-disciplinary highly skilled team. Our lead is moving away and we would like to find someone who can take on admin duties or would like to learn to become a lead. We provide a high level of quality training. This could also evolve into an ABA SW position for the right person.
We would like to find someone career minded with a strong work ethic. Our Consultants are Dr. Sara White and Sarah Pastrana. This is an excellent opportunity to work with top notch consultants and a supportive, experienced family.
If you are interested, please send a personal letter of introduction and a brief outline of your experience via email.
Looking forward to hearing from you!
