I am looking for several Certified ABA Behaviour Interventionists for my high functioning autistic son, including a team leader who will be involved in direct intervention, update of data sheet, assistance with the training, communication with behaviour consultant, team members and family etc.

I am looking for enthusiastic BIs and a team leader who have previous experience working with preschool kids. BIs should have 1+ year of working experience and the team leader should have previous experience with leading a team of BIs. The classes will consist of a variety of presentations, guided discussions, brief exercises, video demonstrations and question and answer times. Rather than a traditional lecture style, the classes are designed with a round table approach, where parents can bring questions, ideas and input in order to facilitate discussion. The presenters will endeavor to provide a broad, conceptual framework for the classes, in order that parents may take the information to their own consultants and teams, in order to structure details, strategies and programs specific to their child.

He is a happy and energetic boy who loves attention. We are looking for bright, hard working, energetic interventionists. Applicants must work well on a team, be willing to take feedback and direction from our consultant, Michelle Karren, and have a current criminal record check. Experience is an asset, but not a requirement. This is a great opportunity for students, who are interested in the field of psychology, education or speech/language pathology. We are looking for a qualified BI to work with our 9-year old son in a home-based program guided by ABA consultant Bohdanna Popowycz Kvam. Our son is high-functioning, and has many interests. He needs help with social skills and self-regulating. He also needs assistance with sports skills, such as for soccer, skating, and swimming. Being able to provide instruction in that area isnt essential, but would be an asset. We live on the Vancouver east side, near Fraser & 20th.
