ABA Behaviour Interventionists Needed in White Rock. We have an established ABA home program for our 3 year old, verbal son who has been diagnosed with PDD-NOS. Our Behavioural Consultant is Rachel Russell.
We are looking for 2 BI's – for 2 shifts each per week of 2.5 hours per shift Monday and Wednesday from 12:30 -3 and any afternoon from 3:30-6pm
We would like energetic, patient and fun people who are willing to commit to one year of work with our sweet little boy. Must be over 19 years of age and preferably with experience working with children. Experience as a BI not necessary as our Consultant is willing to train. We are located in White Rock. -2+ years commitment -19+ years old, with a clear criminal record check -experienced in psychology or a related field -quick learner, positive attitude -dependable/punctual -able to work as a team and take constructive feedback -ABA experience an asset -experience with youth -able to commit to 2-3 hour 1:1 shifts, 1-2x per week after school/weekends -will be implementing 1:1 intervention, including data collection and some administrative work -all training provided by BCBA consultants

My name is Conor and I have an 11 year old brother with ASD who began ABA therapy at the age of three. As a result, I have experienced firsthand the vast benefits of Applied Behaviour Analysis.
Skills, abilities and experiences:
I am studying kinesiology and other general studies courses at the University of the Fraser Valley and plan to pursue a career in education. I have recently completed the line therapist workshop at Harmony House. I enjoy most sports, am very athletic and have completed personal training courses. I have a passion for soccer and have volunteered with kids soccer programs. I enjoy video and computer games (mostly sports games: FIFA, NHL and racing cars). I am very social, energetic, fun, hardworking and patient.
Fine Arts Grad located in Nelson BC looking to join home ABA program(s) under qualified consultants. Some experience with special needs and autism and would like to become BI in Nelson and area.
