Are you a highly energetic, enthusiastic and engaging experienced BI, wanting to be part of a great multidisciplinary team?
We are looking for BI's to work with our 4 year old son, recently diagnosed with ASD.He is fun and very responsive to therapy and loves his "play-friends" coming over to play or taking him out. He has developmental delays and apraxia of speech and is delightful to play with.
Applicants with experience in, or studying SLP are preferred, but not essential.Minimum requirements:
– at least 21 years old
– Must be serious about making a difference in someone's life,
– college or university student or graduate in psychology, behavioral science,ECE-special needs, ABA, Speech & Language Pathology or medical field.
– Experience working with clients who have a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder or other developmental disabilities
– Excellent English communication skills
– Must be energetic, patient, fun, fast learner, committed, and loves to work with children.
– Autism Spectrum Disorder specific coursework, training or workshops.
– Criminal record check
– Valid References with phone numbers
– A valid first aid certificate (which can be obtained after hiring).
– Valid drivers license and/or own car is preferred, but not essentialResponsibilities include:
* Working one-on-one in home sessions that are 2 — 3 hours long, currently on weekends and some weekdays.
Beginning January will be more regular hours.
* Teaching play, language and social skills.

Shifts will be 2.5 hours from 4:00-6:30pm on both Thursday and Friday,
weekend mornings from 9:00-11:30am. Tutor might also need to assist

We are looking for therapists to work with our 2 3/4 year-old son, in Langley.
He loves to play, giggle, is very bright and is a joy to work with. His smile will melt your heart and his laugh will bring a smile to your face.
This position is of special interest to students interested in special education and/or psychology and is an exciting opportunity to join an ABA team right from the start!
No experience is necessary (although experience is valued and pay will be commensurate with experience), as training will be provided by our Consultant, Liana Maione, BCBA and our Senior therapist.
You must be playful, have a positive attitude, a willingness to learn, a high level of energy, good attention to detail and a desire to make a difference in the life of a child.
You will work one-to-one with this little boy in two to three hour shifts and should be able to work at least 3 shifts per week, in addition to attending bi-weekly/monthly team meetings.
Mon, Wed & Thur mornings and a few afternoon shifts are currently available. You will be required to make a minimum of a one-year commitment.

progress is starting……he does half of his own cooking with close supervision….NEEDED…lead therapist or
experienced therapist to guide us with Sarah Leadley of Able…..James is deaf so good asl is needed…..James left hs is the throes of untreated autism and added mental illness….
being suspended almost a third of the final two years of school
….now he reads 1000 nouns and 30 verbs

Our team is led by Michele Shilvock of Harmony House. We are located in South Surrey, previous experience as a behaviour interventionist is an asset, but we would be willing to provide training for the right applicant. You will be required to work 2-3 2 hour shifts per week as well as attend bi-weekly team meetings. Our schedule is somewhat flexible with time slots open Tuesday and Saturday from 9-11am, and Tuesday and Saturday from 3-5pm. Sunday shifts may also be considered. We are looking for energetic, enthusiastic, reliable, and dedicated individuals who can have fun and play easily with children. Candidates are required to be self-motivated, dependable, possess excellent communication skills and have reliable transportation. Pay will be based on experience.

I have approx 500 hours ABA home based hours and currently supporting a student doing ABA programs at school.
