We are looking for a Behaviour Interventionist / Communication Assistant to be part of a home-based team in the Oakridge area for our social, enthusiastic and nonverbal 13-year-old son with a developmental disability secondary to a chromosomal diagnosis.
We are currently needing someone 2 day/week (M-Th) for about 1.5-2 h/d, with the potential for more hours.
Experience working with children with developmental disabilities and with communication apps such as Touch Chat is an asset, but not required. All training will be provided under the supervision of Justine Banigan BCaBA and Richard Stock BCBA.Please send cover letter and resume to farahv@telus.net

Sessions will focus on social skills, play skills, and communication. Session times are flexible and could occur after school, early afternoons, or weekends. Attendance at our monthly team meeting is required. Qualified applicants should have a driver’s license, clean criminal record check, and be able to commit to a minimum of one year. Training and supervision will be provided by Tracey Feenstra and Stephanie Price-Evans, BCBA. Pay is based on experience.

Our family is looking for BIs to join our start up team. Our child is 3 years old and has a diagnosis of ASD. We live close to Ironwood Plaza and bus transit. We are looking for the following shifts:
Wed., Thurs. or Fri. from 8:30 am – 10:30 am or
any weekdays from 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm or
Sun. from 9 am – 11 am or 3:30 pm – 5:30 pm
Training will be provided by our Behavior Consultant, Elaine Gee, BCBA and our team lead. We require the BI to commit to at least 2 shifts of 2 hour per week, at least 1 year of commitment with a 2-month probation and attend monthly team meeting. Being able to converse in Cantonese is an asset. Pay rate will be based on experience in ABA.

We are looking for a part time ABA-SW for a fun, happy, highly motivated and talkative 13 year old boy! Position is at Eaton Arrowsmith School at UBC. Currently days are Monday, Tuesday and Thursdays, however this may be flexible, and the hours would be 8:30 am-3:00 pm and it would be a January 2018 start. We are looking for a person who is interested in extending their ABA experience to Social Thinking, self monitoring, conversation skills and more. Team is supervised by Julide Saltuklaroglu Peace, BCBA and Site Director of Autism Partnership. If it turns out to be a good fit for both of us you would be guaranteed the same position next year and there will also be hours available over the summer.

We are looking for an experienced BI to assist with our son’s in home ABA therapy. We are located in the Guildford area of Surrey. Training will be provided by BCBA consultant Maria Turner, and will commence ASAP. A little bit about us, we have two children one of which was diagnosed with mild/moderate autism last January. Our son who will be three next month is a fun loving little boy who struggles primarily with speech/language development and some behavioral issues. He loves cars/trucks, dancing and anything related to Paw Patrol or Moana! We recently received confirmation that his funding is in place and we are now in the process of establishing a team of in home therapists. This position is available Mondays through to Wednesdays starting at approximately 4 hours a week. Hours of availability can be discussed further at time of interview. We currently have two BI’s working with our son on Thursdays and Fridays, so we are looking to fill in the remainder of the week with another BI.
