Looking for a BI to start ASAP for our verbal, very fun and engaging 5 year old son,
who has developmental delay and mild to moderate autism.
He has been responding wonderfully to his ABA therapy, is a fast learner and loves his
home based sessions.Sessions will be Monday, Wednesday, Friday afternoons 3.30pm-5.30pm and possibly on one weekend morning for two hours.
He will be starting Kindergarten in September and we are looking for someone who will be able to commit to one year for the above-mentioned sessions.
ABA experience is definitely preferred as well as experience working with special needs kids.
University degree in a related field is an asset (child development, education, psychology).
Full training will be provided on site by our BCBA consultant, and you will need to attend monthly
team meetings too, arranged at a mutually convenient time to everyone. You will also overlap with his SLP and OT and gain valuable experience from these sessions.Following is required:
* outgoing and fun personality
* 21 years of age, or older
* current criminal record check within 6 months (or obtain one)
* must provide two contactable references
* fluent in English

An outstanding opportunity to work in the field of ABA and behaviour intervention with a young man diagnosed with autism in his respite home. Excellent training and supervision will be provided as well as support from board certified behaviour analysts from Canada and the US.
The student being supported in this program is active, and as part of his behaviour management, staff will be required to participate with him in home and community based recreational activities. Therefore, it is essential that applicants are in good physical condition and can participate in these activities. Drivers license required and Class 4 preferred. Standard checks and certificates will be required for the successful applicant.
We are currently recruiting male applicants for a casual (on-call) position in this North Vancouver home. Staff will be required to work a minimum of two shifts per month and attend all team meetings and consults.

Hi, I'm looking for a Behavioural Interventionist to come to my home and provide 10 hours of respite per month with my son who is high functioning autistic and will be 5 in September.
-This position will pay $XX.XX per hour.
-Must have experience, if only a little experience a non-related reference will be required.
-Must have a clean criminal record
-A strong grasp of the English language. My son can talk but not much and doesn't pronounce very well so it is a little challenging for him to communicate at this point.
-Required to shadow his current B.I. one time in his ABA Home program for best results.
-The respite time would be spent doing structured activities. Documenting will not be required.This 10 hours a month can be distributed in 2-4 hour increments and will be available between 9 am and 12pm any day of the week barring appointments and unforseen circumstances.

and strong lead therapist…must sign well as the client is deaf.hours are flexible with school returning and many staff changing shifts
