Looking for Behavior Interventionists to join our team in Richmond, B.C. You would contribute to an ABA program for a 3 year old boy who has ASD, but is a joy to be around and learns quickly. This is a part-time position, Pay will be commensurate with experience. Training will be provided on site by our experienced BCBA consultant and/or supervisor.
PREFERRED CANDIDATES WILL HAVE:
– Some experience working as a Behavior Interventionist
OR experience in the areas of Psychology, Special Education, or related disciplines.
– Knowledge of and experience with ABA.ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
– Must be 19 years of age or older.
– Must speak English fluently.
– Willingness to undergo a criminal record check.
– Willingness to commit to the position long-term (3 months probation and a minimum 1 year commitment after the probationary period).
– Possesses excellent interpersonal skillsâHas an ability to work and communicate effectively within a team and with children.
– Is enthusiastic about working with children.

February 18, 2013 at 5:44 am #8195Dragos IonescuParticipantTutor for home base program required in the North Vancouver area to work with a 13 year boy with ASD. Experience with children with autism and/or ABA is an asset but not required.
Our son is a happy boy with interests in music, drums and piano, taking pictures and recording videos, computer wiz, as well as loving ice skating and roller-skating, swimming, rock climbing and playing outside. He has difficulty expressing himself and socializing with peers.
Training will be provided under the supervision of our certified BCBA behaviour consultant. Your role will be to systematically and scientifically teach our son communication, social and behavioural skills. You are required to collect data throughout your one on one session and at a monthly team meeting discuss the progress of the programs with the team. You will work one-on-one with our son both in-home and in the community to support his social language development, peer interactions and perspective communication skills.
Ideal for final year college students (especially those in psychology, social work or education).
The position is part time for the next 4 months and summer and hopefully full time during the next school year. Pay is commensurate with experience.

– be responsible and energetic with strong communication skills
– be at least 19 years old
– have some experience working with children
– have a clear criminal record check
– have reliable transportation
– be available to attend monthly team meetings
– want to make a difference in a child's life

Looking for BI to join our home based ABA team for our fun and
energetic 5 year old son who has Asperger Syndrome or High Functioning
Autism. He is a fast learner, very energetic, funny, challenging, and
he loves to learn. He recently started kindergarten . He can read and
is very verbal.Sessions will be weekday afternoons three to four days a week: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and/or Friday from 2-4
ABA experience is preferred but not necessary.
Full training will be provided on site by our consultant, and you will
need to attend
team meetings which are arranged at a mutually convenient time to
