Experienced ABA Behavioral Interventionist Needed (South Surrey, BC)
We are a South Surrey family currently looking to hire a Behavioral Interventionist experienced in ABA therapy to work with our loving & energetic 4 year old son who has High Functioning Autism (Aspergers). We are looking for someone with the following qualities:
Has patience, who is Energetic, Fun, Punctual and Reliable
Caring and loving as well as experience working with small children (preferably someone with their ECE certificate but not required)
Works well with a team
Willing to collect data to measure our son's abilities
Be available to attend bi-weekly team meetings
Want to make a difference in our little boy's lifeAll applicants must be at least 19 years of age and have their own vehicle and must be willing to complete a Criminal Record Check. Experience with ABA is required but there will also be training from our certified Behavioral Consultant, Michelle de Beer from ABLE Clinic.
We are looking for someone to work with our son 4 hours a week in his preschool (Thurs and Fri's from 9:30am – 11:30am) and also to cover vacation or days off from other therapists hopefully.

Positions are available working with a team to provide intensive, one-on-one therapy to a 16 year old boy with autism. Experience working with autistic children would be helpful but is not required. All training will be provided under the supervision of Sharon Baxter (MA,BCBA) and Intern Julee Bisiker.
Therapy will take place in our home in West Vancouver. Therapists should be able to commit to 2-3 shifts per week in addition to one Team Meeting (2hours) per month for the duration 1 year (minimum). Therapist pay will be based on experience.
Program focuses mainly on functional communication and life and leisure skills both in the home and in the community. Must have your own vehicle and be willing to do outings. We are looking for someone who is energetic, dedicated and works well on their own as well as being a good team member.
These positions will appeal particularly to people with an interest in education, special education, speech/language pathology, psychology and clinical therapy. Other families in our area are looking for trained therapists to work with their children. Once you are trained, there will be no shortage of employment opportunities!

We are looking for an energetic Therapist to work with our cheerful and friendly son in our well-established ABA home team in East Vancouver. Our son is 4.5 years old and has been doing ABA for 2 years.
Ideal candidates are those who can work 2-4 shifts per week (primarily weekday afternoon sessions and weekend morning/afternoon sessions). You must be available to attend monthly 2 hour team meetings.
Our team is led by Dr. Sara White, as well as a Junior Consultant. This is an excellent opportunity to train under the guidance of two highly qualified leaders in the community.
Suitable for those in the education/psychology/speech sciences field and other fields related to working with children.
No experience necessary, although previous training with Dr. Sara White's approach is highly preferred. Training will start immediately in our home, and ongoing training and support is always available as needed.

Looking to hire a Senior BI for home-based ABA program with happy 2 1/2 year old boy diagnosed with ASD. Training will be provided by a board certified behavior consultant. Duties would include data collection during 1 on 1 sessions, monthly team meeting, overseeing the team, as well as training of team members. Sessions would be 2-3 hours, 2-4 times a week.
Our program is intensive and very typical of an early ABA program consisting of teaching many skills such as imitation, following instructions, language development and social skills.
This position could lead to attending pre-school with our son in September on Tues/Thurs mornings from 9-11:30 (if interested).

We are located in West Abbotsford. The job will include therapy time at home, play dates, and community programs. Team meetings are every 2-3 weeks from 5-7pm and are led by a behavior consultant. You will also be working with a certified teacher and speech pathologist.
The right personality for this position is high energy, creative, fun, mature, honest, organized, great attention to detail, passionate about making a difference in a child's life, ability to adjust to constructive feedback, reliable, and ability to follow through on commitment.
You would need to commit to at least the end of the following school year. Longer term would be welcomed. Hours will ramp up to approximately 20hrs/wk (20/hrs week after training complete).
ABA training not required, but an asset. Extensive training will be provided.
Must be non-smoking, and have own transportation.
