Experienced ABA Behavioral Interventionist Needed (South Surrey, BC)

We are a South Surrey family currently looking to hire another Behavioral Interventionist to our team who is either experienced in ABA therapy already or who has their ECE or some experience working with special needs children, to work with our loving & energetic 4 year old son who has High Functioning Autism (Aspergers). We are looking for someone with the following qualities:

• Has patience, who is Energetic, Fun, Punctual and Reliable
• Caring and loving as well as experience working with small children (preferably someone with their ECE certificate but not required)
• Works well with a team
• Willing to collect data to measure our son's abilities
• Be available to attend bi-weekly team meetings
• Want to make a difference in our little boy's life

All applicants must be at least 19 years of age and have their own vehicle and must be willing to complete a Criminal Record Check. Experience with ABA is required but there will also be training from our certified Behavioral Consultant, Michelle de Beer from ABLE Clinic.

We are looking for someone to work with our son 4 – 6 hours a week in his preschool (Thurs and Fri's from 9:30am – 11:30am or 9am – 12noon) as well as attend bi-weekly team meetings on Tues from 4 – 6pm as well as hopefully cover vacation or days off from other therapists.

You will be implementing an Early Intervention ABA program in the home, community, and preschool under the supervision of Nikki Ali and Katie Allen from PosAbilities. This is a new program and is just starting up.

Looking for enthusiastic, fun, and motivated Behaviour Interventionists to work with a 3-year old boy diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Work will include following tasks and programs as outlined by the behaviour consultant for academic, social skills, and functional life skills.

You must be able to work at 2, 2 hour sessions (between 2-5pm, monday-thursday) as well as attend bi-weekly team meetings. We are located in Vancouver by the Killarney area. All training will be provided under the supervision of Sarah Leadley, BCBA, from Able Clinic.
Applicants with child experience are encouraged to apply. This is a great experience for those wanting to work in the field of behaviour analysis, education, and psychology. Successful candidates need to be motivated, eager and quick to learn. We want interventionists who will have a positive and enthusiastic attitude, and be able to accept and implement feedback accordingly. You must be able to make at least a 1 year commitment, be at least 19 years of age, and be extremely proficient in the English language and be willing to complete a criminal record check.
