    We are looking for an experienced Behavioural Interventionist, preferably an ABA Support Worker or someone with close to a 1000 hours, to work with our 6 year old son who has Autism. We are looking for someone who is charismatic, gentle but firm and willing to work within a team as well as strong enough to work as an individual. Applicants must also be reliable, punctual and honest.

    Sessions would be 2 hours, 4-5 times a week in our son's daycare.

    All applicants must be at least 19 years of age and have their own vehicle and must be willing to complete a Criminal Record Check. Experience with ABA is required but there will also be training from our certified Behavioural Consultant.

    We are located in the South Surrey/Ocean Park area.

    We have just relocated to Salt Spring Island and are seeking an Interventionist working under the direction of Dr. Sara White for a 15 year old boy with Autism:

    Qualifications:
    -500 or more hours of experience working in an ABA in-home program
    -Experience working with children with autism in an integrated environment or experience facilitating peer interactions with typically developing peers
    -Experience teaching in an activity-embedded and/or generalized teaching environment

    Job Description:
    -Work with a child with autism in a variety of integrated settings
    -Work collaboratively with an outside consultant
    -Participate in on-going training and observations related to school and community based programming

    *We are running a generalized program, and you must be able to think outside the box.

    You must be able to work with an outside consultant implementing a program for a child with autism, which includes social skills facilitation. Weekly reporting to consultant. Support the needs of the autistic child in social activities/environments and sports, and all unstructured times creating social opportunities through the facilitation of games, activities with peers, which includes skill building to maintain and initiate conversations with peers.

    Job Description:
    Looking to hire a BI for home-based ABA program with happy 3 year old girl diagnosed with ASD. Training will be provided by a board certified behavior consultant. Sessions would be 2-3 hours, 2-3 times a week.

    Our program is intensive and very typical of an early ABA program consisting of teaching many skills such as imitation, following instructions, language development and social skills.

    Job Requirements: (Knowledge/ Experience):
    -a minimum of 1 year ABA experience
    -be able to provide criminal record check (within last 12 months)

    ABA Therapist required in the Greater Vancouver area to work with a 6 year old child who has Asperger’s. Sessions will be 2 hours long, on Thursdays and Fridays after school. Pay is commensurate with experience. Training will be provided under the guidance of our ABA consultant, Corine Sutton. Ideal for college students (especially those in psychology, social work or education).

    We are looking for a behaviour interventionist to implement home based programs and provide academic support for our 8 year old son with high functioning Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
    Experience is an asset. However, training can be provided. The program is supervised by a Board Certified Behavioural Consultant from ABA Learning Center.
    Sessions are 2 hours long and held twice a week after school. BI's may choose from Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, or Friday.
    (If interested, there is another family who lives nearby, with the same Behaviour Consultant from ABA Learning Center who is also looking for a BI for their 7 year old son with whom you may arrange to have back to back session, after our place. They are 10 minutes away by car, and buses are also available.)
    We live in the Coquitlam Center/Pinetree area in Coquitlam.

    • Can commit to a one-year term
    • Students in Psychology, Education, Special Education, Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy preferred
    • Minimum age 19
    • Asian culture background an asset

    Looking for enthusiastic, fun, and motivated Behaviour Interventionist to work with a 16-year old girl diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Work will include following tasks and programs as outlined by the behaviour consultant for functional life skills.

    You must be able to work Sunday mornings from 8-10 and Monday evening from 4-6. We are located in South Surrey.

    Applicants with child experience are encouraged to apply. This is a great experience for those wanting to work in the field of behaviour analysis, education, and psychology. Successful candidates need to be motivated, eager and quick to learn. We want interventionists who will have a positive and enthusiastic attitude, and be able to accept and implement feedback accordingly. You must be able to make at least a 1 year commitment, be at least 19 years of age, able to go on community outings, be extremely proficient in the English language and be willing to complete a criminal record check.

    ABA Support Worker for September in South Surrey

    We are looking for someone either currently working in the Surrey School District or who has 1000 hours of home experience and interested in applying to work in the district to make a match with our son high functioning son who is going into Grade 3.

    This 20 hour position is highly flexible and could be a perfect fit for someone looking for school based experience but needs to work around education, children or other jobs. We are an experienced, involved and supportive family working with a well established team and a very ABA friendly South Surrey school.

    Please note that the camp is only for students age 5-12, who are currently students in the Surrey School District, and who have an active ABA program. This would not be a suitable camp for advanced learners.
