We are looking for an experienced Behavioural Interventionist, preferably an ABA Support Worker or someone with close to a 1000 hours, to work with our 6 year old son who has Autism. We are looking for someone who is charismatic, gentle but firm and willing to work within a team as well as strong enough to work as an individual. Applicants must also be reliable, punctual and honest.
Sessions would be 2 hours, 4-5 times a week in our son's daycare.
All applicants must be at least 19 years of age and have their own vehicle and must be willing to complete a Criminal Record Check. Experience with ABA is required but there will also be training from our certified Behavioural Consultant.
We are located in the South Surrey/Ocean Park area.

Experience is an asset. However, training can be provided. The program is supervised by a Board Certified Behavioural Consultant from ABA Learning Center.
Sessions are 2 hours long and held twice a week after school. BI's may choose from Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, or Friday.
(If interested, there is another family who lives nearby, with the same Behaviour Consultant from ABA Learning Center who is also looking for a BI for their 7 year old son with whom you may arrange to have back to back session, after our place. They are 10 minutes away by car, and buses are also available.)
We live in the Coquitlam Center/Pinetree area in Coquitlam. Can commit to a one-year term

We are looking for someone either currently working in the Surrey School District or who has 1000 hours of home experience and interested in applying to work in the district to make a match with our son high functioning son who is going into Grade 3.
This 20 hour position is highly flexible and could be a perfect fit for someone looking for school based experience but needs to work around education, children or other jobs. We are an experienced, involved and supportive family working with a well established team and a very ABA friendly South Surrey school.

Please note that the camp is only for students age 5-12, who are currently students in the Surrey School District, and who have an active ABA program. This would not be a suitable camp for advanced learners.
