Looking for an ABA SW for September in South Surrey. This position is 20 hours per week for a girl entering high school in grade 8. Ideally the candidate would also work 1 afternoon/week after school (but not absolutely necessary) and meet us and train with our home team in the summer for 3-4 shifts before school starts.
Interested applicants can email me at
jennifer.r@shaw.ca with resume and cover letter.
We look forward to hearing from you:-)May 21, 2013 at 6:48 pm #8295Lisa SingerMemberNeeded: ABASW in a Fleetwood area elementary school starting in September – either already working for the Surrey School District or looking to be hired in Surrey. We would also love for the candidate to join our home team right away and work with our son over the summer. The number of hours to be worked over the summer is negotiable.
We are looking for someone either currently working in the Surrey School District or who has 1000 hours of home experience and who is interested in applying to work in the district to make a match with our son. (The 1000 hours is a requirement of the Surrey School District and non-negotiable).
Our son is 5 years old and is very high functioning. He is sweet, intelligent, very verbal, and has a great love of life. He struggles with social situations, transitions, and often doesn't recognize safety risks. He started reading when he was three and loves stories, poetry, and learning grammar. He also loves doing crafts and creating stories. He is a very funny and affectionate child.
We are an experienced, involved, and supportive family working with a well established team in the Fleetwood area of Surrey.
If you are interested, please email your information. We look forward to hearing from you.
