Hi Cathy i gave a picture of my son in a nice frame,most dollar stores have these, or some lavender ( from the garden) a bit out of season now ,in a nice mesh bag.( also from dollar store)i have also made homemade chocolates,with a sachel of hot choc and a nice mug too.i find if i make it , it feels nicer, more personal that way and it helps show how much i appreciate my team, hope that helps Louise

I love reading your post's, david. this one did move me to tears. i havent been getting posts lately my email was messing up but iam glad to be back .We also had a great night,my son went as the donkey from shrek and as he ran his ears bobbled it was too cute,he said trick or treat at every house ( before the doors opened) we will work on that for next year, he thanked everyone for his treats it was great to see. To the post about property tax and dissability, i just took the form into my doctor and he filled it out and he thought we should get it. i mailed it in so i wont know for a while if we do i will let you all know when i get it back, i called the property tax people too andthey said to send in a cheque for the lesser amount and if i am not approved for the credit then i have to pay the difference , hope that helps Louise

Hi eveyone, i am feeling all kinds of emotions today but one thing i wanted to say is I admire every one of you for your courage to fight. Not once today have i seen anyone giving up, people are upset and rightly so but even amongst the tears everyone is still fighting for our kids and there rights. I admire all of you for having the strenght not only to live life day to day but also to invest time and money to make the difference in our kids lives, thankyou for all you have fought for and will keep fighting for , like many have said today already we wont give up ever, and together we will win, Louise( liams mom)

this is to tony, i have read the studies too. Unfortunatly we couldnt afford to do a full 40 hour week so we started with 28 hours and then went up to 32-34 hours per week until now as my son is in school. He has made amazing gains because of an amazing team that I have, and a wonderful aba consultant. i know if we could do more he would be that much better off but i can say without a shadow of a doubt that any good therapy is better than nothing.he couldnt talk before therapy, would have fits that lasted hours, we have only seen one of those in the last two years and it lasted 10 min. he is talking in 3 and 4 word sentences now and is in kindergarten, and its all thanks to a great team and great therapy, we follow a lovaas aba program. i know this isnt a study but its proof enough for me,hope it helps , Louise
