Senior Behaviour Interventionist and Behaviour Interventionist Needed in North Burnaby

We are looking for behaviour interventionists to join our home team in Burnaby near SFU. Successful candidates will be working with our 13 year old son who is high-functioning and an advanced learner.  You will be implementing an ABA program with a focus on complex social skills under the supervision of our behaviour consultant, Courtney Phillips (BCBA).  Training will be provided.  Wages will be based on experience.

HOURS:  1-2 after school sessions per week, 2 – 2 1/2 hours each; must attend monthly team meetings

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• at least 19 years old
• energetic
• reliable and consistent
• good communication and interpersonal skills
• clear criminal record check
• have own transportation
• minimum 1 year commitment

We are looking for a BI to cover a maternity leave in the North Burnaby area for one 2-hour session a week.  It is a well-established ABA team supervised under our consultant, Courtney Phillips.  You would be supporting our 11 year old son who is high-functioning, bright, verbal, and creative.  ABA experience is preferred, but not required.  Training will be provided.  Salary will be based on experience and performance.

 

Applicants must:

– commit to a minimum of 3- 6 months while covering a maternity leave

– be reliable, flexible, organized, a team player, and accept feedback

– be able to attend team meetings once a month

– have a clear criminal record check
