Over Six AFU Funding Challenges
We are in the second year of running our ABA program with the over six funding and this year we have significantly less of our own resources to contribute due to the other family needs. I am not often able to get out to the network meetings because of family scheduling challenges. The student, a seven-year old girl, is a quick learner with a great sense of humour and has been in a well-established home ABA program for nearly four years, under the direction of Theresa Jouan and with the support of an involved and committed family. The position would be approximately one year (to cover a leave) beginning in the spring of 2014. We are looking for a dedicated and energetic ABA therapist to provide one-on-one preschool support to our four year old daughter, who is fun, playful and eager to learn. This is an excellent opportunity to make a difference and help prepare a little girl for Kindergarten in Surrey in 2012. It is also an opportunity to receive training on a team of experienced therapists under the direction of Dr Sara White and Theresa Tournemille.

The ideal candidate will be someone who:
– has lots of energy and excellent play skills
– has previous experience working with children, preferably on an ABA team
– in addition to up to five afternoons in the preschool setting, is able to commit to at least one shift per week on the home team and attend monthly team meetings
– is reliable and has a strong work ethic

We are looking for an energetic and motivated individual to join our experienced team of ABA therapists. You will work one-on-one with our three year old daughter to help her expand her social, language and play skills.

All training will be provided along with ongoing supervision. This is a great opportunity to work with a dynamic team under the supervision of Dr. Sara White and Theresa Tournemille.

We are looking to fill two or three 2 1/2 hour shifts per week. Available shifts are Monday mornings and Tuesday/Thursday afternoons. Our team meetings are held the fourth Friday of every month from 3:30 – 5:00pm.

We are looking for an energetic and motivated therapist to join a new team working with our 3 year old girl. Our daughter is bright, curious, with a great sense of humour and LOVES to sing and dance.

Experience in ABA therapy is preferred, but not necessary. If you love children, are patient, and have a positive attitude, this is a great opportunity to receive training in ABA therapy under the supervision of our Behavioural Consultant, Dr. Sara White and Program Coordinator Theresa Tournemille.
