We are looking for a full time ABA tutor/SEA for September 2007 for our
son, who is a 9 year-old entering Grade 4 in September. He is a
big achiever and has a very happy and peaceful nature. He is
intelligent, verbal and supported and loved by his family, tutors and
friends. He is also very smart and affectionate.

Qualifications/Requirements

Clear understanding of ABA principles.
Experience with using ABA in school is preferred trained under a
recognized consultant.
Positive, caring attitude, as well as being a team player.
Willing to learn and be flexible in their job schedule.
Patient, energetic and motivating.
Have the Ability to work in one-on-one situations in a fully integrated classroom/
school-environment as well as actively participate in facilitating
peer relationships.
Able to focus closely on social situations, special attention being
given to break times.
Assisting him in peer group birthday parties.
One year commitment as of September 2007.
Introductory meetings take place before April 2007 to facilitate
bonding with our child or possibly getting some training from our current SEA.
Work with our child for at least 4 hours per week after school.
Attending local workshops and team meetings.
Having the ability and willingness to implement IEP and strategies to
assist our child, as directed and developed by our Home Consultant and
our school district.
Will record and monitor data according to scripted data collection
procedures.
Criminal record check is mandatory.

ABA THERAPISTS NEEDED!

We have an opening for a patient, cheerful and energetic lead therapist who is willing to work with our 5 year-old son who has been in ABA therapy for 2 years. He is fairly high functioning and verbal, gentle, cooperative and willing to learn.

Every session will be 2-3 hours in length and held 2-3 times per week; including every Saturday morning. It is also mandatory to attend our monthly meetings. Salary will vary depending on experience. Good references are required! Our consultants are Andrea Sharp from Autism Partnership and Dr. Glen Davies from ABLE Clinic.
