ABA Therapist required in the Greater Vancouver, Granville area to work with an 11-year-old child with Asperger’s, who is extremely bright, funny, and very verbal.  Sessions will be 2 hours long, on Wednesdays and Fridays, after school or in the evening.  Pay is commensurate with experience. Training and supervision will be provided under the guidance of our BCBA consultants, Dr. Claire Egan and Angie Ho.  Ideal for college students (especially those in psychology, social work or education).

We are currently seeking a behaviour interventionist to work with our 6 year-old son diagnosed with Asperger Syndrome. He's extremely bright and funny and very, very verbal.

You will be teaching our son social communication skills and support him during play dates under the supervision of a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst.

We are looking for somebody who would like to work in this field or a related field on a long-term basis. The ideal candidate is reliable, responsible, and has some experience working with typically developing children. Wages will depend on experience.

Session times are Thursday and Friday afternoons from 4-6 or 4:30-6:30. Meetings will be once a month and can be scheduled to fit everyone's schedule.

Location of work is in Vancouver, near Arbutus and 33rd.

• Fluent in English
• Must be 20 years of age or older
• Work well in a team
• Must have a current Criminal Record Check
• Must be willing to commit to a one-year term
• Must be able to provide 2 references
