I am looking to hire Behavioural Interventionists (ABA Therapist) to work with a 5 years old child diagnosed with high functioning ASD. (He will be grade 1 in Sep 2015). You will be working under the supervision of a Behavioural Consultant based on the principles of ABA (Applied Behaviour Analysis). This is Ideal for college students (especially those in psychology, social work or education). We are looking for someone to start as soon as possible
Location: Surrey Clayton near by Willow Brook Mall
Scheduling: 3 sessions per week, each session is approximately 3 hours. (one-to one session 2.5 hours)
o from 1 to 4:00 pm (Tue/Thurs) or 9-12pm (Mon-Fri)
o From Sep 2015: schedule will be changed to after school hours
o Team meeting required for once a month. Qualifications:
o Responsible and energetic
o At least 19 years old.
o Strong play skills
o Clear criminal record check completed within last 12 months
o Reliable transportation

Behavioural Interventionist (West End Vancouver)
Our team is looking for a Behavioural Interventionist to work with a family in the West End of Vancouver. This position will require weekday evening availability.
– You will be provided with high quality training and support from qualified Behaviour Consultants
– Potential for BCBA or BCABA supervisory hours
– Includes training workshops in behavioural intervention strategiesAs a behavioural interventionist you will be working with young children diagnosed with ASD as part of a Behavioural Intervention team, under the direct mentorship and supervision of a Behavioural Consultant. Your responsibilities will include:
Using teaching methods to target specific program goals as directed by a Behavioural Consultant and implementing teaching programs and other interventions as outlined on the child's behavioural plan of intervention
Collecting data, monitoring, recording and reviewing client progress with team members
Maintaining an organized environment for intervention; including room organization and proper storage of materials and documents
Attending and participating in regularly scheduled team meetings
Participating in regular shadow and training sessions with Behavioural Consultant
Responding appropriately to oral and written feedback from the Behavioural Consultant by making necessary changes in order to follow through with suggestions madeMinimum Educational and Experience Requirements
Experience working with young children for at least 2 years
Applicants in Psychology, Special Education, Early Childhood Education, and Speech & Language Pathology are encouraged to apply
Candidates are required to be self-motivated, extremely reliable, enthusiastic, and possess excellent communication skills
A car and a valid driver's license are a great asset
Minimum age for applicants is 19; female applicants only

BI for home program needed (Vancouver west)
Looking to hire a BI for home-based ABA program with our seven years old son with mild ASD (some language delay and delays in social skills). Our son is humorous, and enjoys having fun. He has been doing well with the program.
Training will be provided. Sessions would be 2-3 hours, 2-3 times a week. (either one after school session and one weekend session; or two after school session)
Our program is intensive and very typical of an ABA program consisting of teaching some basic academics, especially related to language (reading, writing), interactive play and some other language related skills.
Job Requirements: (Knowledge/ Experience):
– ABA experience an asset
-be able to provide criminal record check (within last 12 months)
-the desire to make a difference in a child's life
-have great fondness for kids and great passion for her job
-compassionate and patient personality
-excellent interpersonal, organizational and time management skills
-excellent oral and written communication
