We are looking to start up a team of outgoing, energetic Tutors to work in our home with a very happy and bright 3 year old boy. Experience working with autistic children would be helpful but is not required. All training will be provided, to the right individual, by Bohdanna Popowyz Kvam, an authority in Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA).

These positions will appeal particularly to people with an interest in psychology, education, special education, speech/language pathology and clinical therapy. However, it is not mandatory that you be enrolled in these fields.

This is an opportunity to work with an outstanding consultant, Bohdanna Popowyz Kvam, and to make a real difference in a little boy’s life. It is rewarding to see a young child’s world expand and to know that you are helping that child to participate fully in his environment. Other families in the Lower mainland are looking for trained therapists to work with their children. Once you are trained there will be no shortage of employment opportunities.

A criminal record check will be required. Training sessions will begin towards the end of August or early September. The hours of work are flexible; however you will be required to attend bi-weekly meetings. Wages are negotiable depending on experience.

    If you:

    • Are energetic
    • Are at least 19 years old
    • Have excellent play and social skills
    • Have a strong worth ethic
    • Can commit to at least 1 year
    This position is for you.

If interested, please email your resume and references to: shalinisharma@shaw.ca or contact me at 604-531-7413 for further information.
