Sunita BraichMemberI was wondering if anyone could help our family out. We have a 4 1/2 year old girl who could do with much much more peer play-dates.
I was wondering if anyone who lived locally to us, (we live in Fleetwood, Surrey), would be interested in a 'swap' for peer play-dates.
We have a 6 1/2 (girl) and 8 1/2 (boy) who could be used for peer dates with your child, and we would love to have your approx 5 year old child to come over to provide our 4 1/2 year old daughter with a much needed peer play-date.
I hope that all makes sense, and if you are interested, please email me at:
Sunita BraichMemberhi everyone,
just wanted to say thank-you to the people who responded to my posting about my 3 1/2 year old daughter crying and tantruming at the mere mention of anyone coming to play with her. thank you for all your advice.

Sunita BraichMemberhi everyone,
i wonder if anyone has had a similar experience to us:my 3 and a half year old is just 4 weeks into her aba therapy. when she first started, say the first two weeks or so, she seemed to really enjoy the 'playing'. however, for the last couple of weeks, she has become increasingly resistant to the sessions, whining, verbally saying 'no playing', clinging to me, and it has now culminated in full blown crying, screaming and aggression.
is this a common occurrence? is it just because the novelty has now worn off and realization has sunk in? did anyone experience the same kind of protests after a couple of weeks, and if so, did it eventually stop (and after how long please). it is really hard for me and my husband to listen to her screaming and crying for us.thanks to anyone who can share their experience with us
