Part of his program also includes Social Thinking and for this we are directly supervised by Stephanie Madrigal, creator of the Superflex curriculum.

A message from our current team member: "This is an opportunity to work on a dynamic and exciting team with some amazing professionals!"

The number and timing of hours for this position is open to negotiation however a minumum commitment of 4 hours is required.

ABA experience is preferable however if you are dynamic, patient, quick to learn and love helping a child thrive, please contact Rikki at rachael.meiri@gmail.com.

We are looking for an energetic, patient, responsible and fun individual experienced in ABA to work with our nine year old high functioning son at school. The position is full time however job sharing is an option.

We are a long time ABA family moving to Vancouver from Melbourne Australia. We are moving so that our son can attend the Eaton Arrowsmith School (EAS) located at UBC. EAS is a unique school with a program based on the principle of neuroplasticity and tailored to address students' learning difficulties. Teaching activities focus on strengthening learning capacities in the areas of reasoning, social cognition, executive functioning, attention and more. This is a novel opportunity for the right person to experience being an ABA SW in such an exciting school.

    The support person will:
    1. Support our son with the learning activities.
    2. Target behavioral (attention), social and conversational objectives.

    The successful applicant will have:
    1. Experience in ABA.
    2. Experience working with high functioning children, particularly in the areas of higher order thinking skills, social thinking and social skills.
    3. The ability to work cooperatively with EAS staff.
    4. Availability throughout the year (and beyond).

Our consultant is from the Calgary office of Autism Partnership (AP) and we shall also have contact with Dr. John McEachin. This is an incredible experience for the successful applicant to receive ongoing training from a member of this dynamic and world leading organization. Our program has been supervised by AP for seven years, with Dr. McEachin as our top level consultant, with tremendous success!
