    Position Type: Part-time
    Position Title: Behavioral Interventionist
    Location: Surrey/Cloverdale

    Job Description:
    Looking to hire a BI for home-based ABA program with happy 6 year old girl diagnosed with ASD. She is high functioning, verbal, bright, warm and friendly.

    Training will be provided by a Board Certified Behavior Consultant, Dr. Claire Egan. Sessions would be after school 2-3 hours, 2 times a week. Weekend shifts are also possible. As part of an experienced team, you will teach and model age-appropriate play, communication and social skills. You will also incorporate specific goals and track progress during play and table-work. Team meetings are monthly. Salary is dependent on experience.

    Job Requirements: (Knowledge/ Experience):
    -a minimum of 1 year ABA experience
    – have a clear criminal record check
    -the desire to make a difference in a child's life
    -have great fondness for kids and great passion for his/her job
    -compassionate and patient personality
    -excellent interpersonal, organizational and time management skills
    -excellent oral and written communication
    -accurate data taking skills
    -open for new learning and suggestions; a team player
    -strong creativity and great play skills
    -have own transportation
    -be reliable, patient and consistent
    -be at least 19 yrs old
    -be willing to commit for 1 year
    -Fluent in English

    Education: College/University

    Accreditations: Behavior Interventionist Certificate or related ABA courses

    Our program is intensive and very typical of an early ABA program consisting of teaching many skills such as imitation, following instructions, language development and social skills.

    -be able to provide criminal record check (within last 12 months)
    -the desire to make a difference in a child's life
