ABA THERAPIST REQUIRED in West Vancouver (May 2015 start date)
We are looking for an experienced ABA therapist who is reliable, energetic, patient, and possessing strong communication/social play skills to provide 1:1 support to our high-functioning 11 year old son
at home and in after school activities. Therefore, owning a car and a valid drivers license is a requirement. Having an academic background in Behavioural Psychology, special education, or early childhood education would be an asset.Job Description/Requirements:
* Shifts are 2 hrs long, 2-3 times/week after school, with possibility of increased shifts in summer.
* Implement programs designed by our BCBA to teach replacement language, social, academic and cognitive skills.
* Ability to work independently, as part of a team, and implement constructive feedback.
* Some training in the home setting will be provided.
* Fluent in English.
* Attend mandatory monthly 1.5 hr hour team meetings.
* Able to commit for 6 months.

This is an amazing opportunity for the right person. My 8 year old son will be going to grade 3 in September 2012. We need a qualified SEA with 1000 hours of ABA experience to be his support worker at school and attend our monthly home team meetings. Preference will be given to someone who has worked with high functioning children and who has strength in social skills/communication and peer interactions. Our son is sociable, verbal, and a fast learner.
Job Description/Requirements:
* Shifts are 2.5hrs long, 1-2 times/week with possibility of a Saturday morning shift.
* Pick up from school on shift days.
* Implement programs designed by our BCBA to teach replacement language, social, play, academic and cognitive skills.

* Training in the home setting will be provided by our Lead Therapist and/or Program Supervisor.
* Fluent in English.

Our family is looking for an individual to provide support to our 6-year old son (he is on the Autism Spectrum) at a West Vancouver camp in a daycare setting for the month of August for 2 or 3 days a week from about 9am to 4pm.
Our son is very verbal with a good sense of humour, and enjoys interaction.
We require an individual who: enjoys interacting with children, is dependable, enthusiastic and patient, has at least 300 hours of ABA experience working with children on the spectrum, a car, passed a recent criminal record check, and is over 19 years of age.
Wages will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.

who is on the Autism Spectrum. He is quite verbal and fun to be with. In addition to being an SEA in a West Vancouver school, there is the potential to join the home-based team. Training and support will be provided when necessary as we require a collaborative relationship between school and the home team. Our behaviour consultant is Michele Shilvock.The following are required for this position:
Be 19 years of age with a clear criminal record check
Valid BC drivers license
Have at least 900 hrs experience implementing ABA program with children on the Autism Spectrum
Completed SETA program or university equivalent courses
Experience being an aide in school setting would be a great asset
Be fun, energetic, and patient
