BEHAVIORAL INTERVENTIONIST
PART-TIME POSITION AVAILABLEAccepting resumes for the position of Behavioral Interventionist to work with a child diagnosed on the Autism Spectrum.
Training workshop provided.
Description of duties:
You will be working in the home of a child diagnosed on the Autism Spectrum, as part of a multi-disciplinary team. During your sessions, you will work one-on-one with the child; model age-appropriate play, communication, and social skills; and take data. You will incorporate specific goals during play and table-work, and track progress on data-sheets at the end of each session, which is expected to last 3 hours; 3 – 4 times per week. Salary to be negotiated, depending on experience.Qualifications:
– Minimum age for applicants is 19.
– Any experience with special needs children a definite asset.
– Candidates are required to be patient, self-motivated, extremely reliable, enthusiastic, and possess excellent communication skills.
