    All members,
You wouldn't believe what happened to me when I got back to work after that CKNW hour…. Air Canada employees were asking me how they can help, YVR employees were asking what is going on with this "autism thing".
I educated them a little bit regarding the case and why are we asking people to sign for our petitions …. I only had 3 petition papers with me, and it was filled up with signatures right away. I had to bring more petition papers on Monday when I go back. One of my co-worker is running around to ask people to sign up.
My wife, on the other hand, will be hitting the church this Sunday. Hopefully, by the end of the week, we'll have a few hundred signatures.
    Cheers!
    Dennis

My husband was abble to get in to the CKNW …. I think he did a pretty good job in voicing out our concerns…..(He was in the room, I did not know that he was on the phone with CKNW)

As I said….we need to let everybody know what all parents with autistic children have been going through…..

My whole family would like to thank you for all the time, effort, and all the work you have done to get us here.
We started off with Gateway (no progress at all), then a Family Centred Services using EIBI (not much progress), and finally, somebody introduced us with this ABA program. I called Jean Lewis and Sabrina Freeman regarding the ABA, and I am very thankful to both of them, so much information….We have been in this program now for less than a year and I can say that I made a very good decision. The outcome is a tremendous success… My daughter now, at the age of six and a half, can say complete sentences, which a year ago, we can not understand her at all. To all of you, thank you.
…………………………………………..My daughter goes to a public school here in South Burnaby area, and I was shocked and surprised that alot of parents came to me about the SCC's decision. They all said it was a terrible decision and was asking me what they can do to help… I told them that we are collecting signatures for "Petition to the House of Commons……", and they are all very supportive and are very willing to sign it. They asked me to bring thepetition tomorrow………………………………….. Also, can somebody let me know what happened to the meeting in West Van. re: "Holy Cow, They ruled Against Our Kids". My husband was sick and I was not able to go, but I am very curious what happened on the meeting?….Please email me at Jnarukami@shaw.ca

    Dear Nancy,
I do have 2 pages (50 signatures)of petition here, should I also send this to you or just mail/fax it to the MP here in Burnaby? I am working on my 3rd page now….. All my co-workers and bosses at the office signed, without questions, and even ask for the copy of the petition.
Good luck to all of us!
