Filing Taxes as a BI

How are other BIs/therapists filing their taxes? Are we self-employed or employees? I've done some reading on this, but I am actually more confused than ever!

It makes a big difference when I file as an employee as opposed to being self-employed so I would really appreciate any advice people can give me.

A Richmond family located near Gateway Theatre is looking for therapists (preferrably with some experience) to work on a social skills program with their school-aged child.

Available days are Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.

FAMILY LOOKING FOR INDIVIDUALS TO DO 1-ON-1 WORK WITH THEIR AUTISTIC SON

Brand new team that is starting up a new program for school-aged boy. No experience necessary! We will train the right candidate .Work in the Brentwood area in Burnaby (near bus and skytrain)

You must be able to work at least 2 shifts (2-3 hours each) a week – shifts are usually after school hours (after 3pm). You must be able to attend 1 team meeting a month. We are asking for at least a 1 year commitment. You must have a criminal record check done.
