Socialization and Behavior Worker Available Friday AfterSchool.. I have 2 openings available for kids ages 10 – 18 with high functioning Autism to join my outings group friday from after school to evenings. I have been working as a Behavior and Socialization specialist for over 10 years outside of school hours. I am currently employed by the Surrey School District in a specialty program, working with students who are at risk to offend, and violent offenders. I also have 22 years experience working with children with disabilities, including Autism Spectrum Disorder. I facilitate relationship building, the responsibility of being a leader, and exercising that right. I emphasize the importance of social etiquette, and fair play. These qualities play a large roll in gaining independence and self-worth. I am looking for children who are receiving Autism funding, and need to utilize their funds in the areas of behavior or socialization deficits.
