ABA Tutor/Potential ABA-SW needed in South Surrey!

Description:
Behaviour Interventionist required in the South Surrey area to work with an 8 year old child who has ASD. No experience is necessary. ABA (Applied Behavioural Analysis) training will be provided under the guidance of our ABA consultant. We are however, ideally looking for someone who currently meets, or will meet by August 2015 the Surrey School District's requirements to enter the school as an ABA-SW (1000 hours of documented home-based ABA experience).Applicants must:

have experience working with children

ABA Tutor needed!
We are currently looking for an ABA tutor to join our home-based team, with the possibility of continuing into the school setting with our son in September, 2015. Our son is a fun-loving, active 10 year old boy who is very smart, loves to read and is passionate about building Lego. His program currently focuses primarily on improving his social and self-management skills. The ideal candidate must have a positive attitude, be reliable and energetic with good attention to detail and a desire to make a difference in the life of a child. They will also be able to run 1-2 home-based sessions per week after school, make at least a one year commitment to our son and will ideally meet (or, meet by September 2015) the requirements to be hired as an Applied Behaviour Analysis Support Worker (ABA-SW) in the Surrey School district. We have supportive, collaborative school and are actively involved in our son's program. All training will be provided by our BCBA consultant, Tyla Frewing and our current home team. All applicants must have reliable transportation and clear criminal check.

ABA instructors needed !! One to two positions are available on our experienced, well-establshed home-based ABA team. Shifts available include morning shifts between 8:30 am and 12:30pm and afternoon shifts between 3pm and 6pm. Attendance at two team meetings per month is required in addition to regular shifts.
We are located in South Surrey and our team is supervised by Tyla Frewing and Dr. Sara White. Experience working on home-based ABA teams is an asset, but not essential as all training will be provided by our team and our ABA Consultant. This is an excellent opportunity for those interested in working with children, psychology or other related disciplines to gain valuable, hands on experience.

ABA tutor and Nanny needed in White rock/South Surrey! We are currently hiring for the following positions:
Position 1: ABA tutor for a 5 year old child's home-based ABA team. We are currently looking to fill shifts on Tuesday and Thursday from 12:00-3:30pm. Weekend shifts are also available. Attendance at regular team meetings in addition to regular shifts is mandatory. Our team is supervised by Tyla Frewing, MSc, BCBA.
Experience working on home-based ABA teams is an asset, but not essential as all training will be provided by our team and our ABA Consultant. This is an excellent opportunity for those interested in working with children, psychology or other related disciplines to gain valuable, hands on experience.
Position 2: Part-time Nanny Position
We are also looking for a part-time nanny who is available to provide care to two children on Tuesday and Thursday from 12pm-8pm. We are looking for an ABA tutor to work with our 2 year old son, who has just been diagnosed with Autism. We are in the process of setting up a brand new home-based program under the supervision of our Behaviour Consultant Sharon Baxter & Junior Consultant, Tyla Frewing.
We require the Candidate to be 19 years of age with a clear criminal record check. Experience implementing Applied Behavioural Analysis (ABA) curricula would be fantastic, but is not essential as all training will be provided.
What is important is a desire to work with and improve the lives of special needs children. This position would suit people with an interest in Behavioural Psychology, special education, or speech/language pathology.
We have 2, 2 hour shifts available during the morning between 9am-11am. Plus a monthly team meeting which does not have a set date or time yet!

The early autism intervention training workshop is conducted by two ABA Program Coordinators: Danielle Eeuwes, BA and Tyla Frewing, BA. The workshop leaders have a broad range of experience in the behavioural treatment of children with autism. Together their experience includes training numerous new therapists, overlapping and providing ongoing training for established teams, training and overlapping with school aides, worksing as school aides, designing individualized data collection methods, training and overlapping senior instructors as well as providing ongoing training for senior instructors, leading training workshops and developing individualized curriculum and behavior management protocol for students with autism under the direct supervision of Board-Certified Behavior Analysts.Register early, as space is limited to 25 people!
