Our fifteen year old daughter is high functioning, verbal, outgoing and engaging. Her therapy is varied and her progress is consistent. She has been doing ABA for thirteen years. We work under the guidance of Kim Kirsch via the Early Autism Project and the program is a home-based ABA program supervised by a well-respected BCBA.
For the lead position, previous experience with ABA programs is a must and previous lead experience would be swell. A criminal record check will be obligatory for both. Initial training, and follow-up sessions will be provided by an experienced therapist from the Early Autism Project.
Lead responsibilities include, but are not limited to: running sessions, overlapping with our consultant, preparing for team meetings once a month, providing reports to the consultant, and working on scheduling. We ask that you are seriously able to commit to the team for at least one year.
You should be FUN, responsible, dedicated, and creative. You should have strong play skills, a positive attitude, and lots of energy and patience.
