Looking to hire an ABA-SW!
This is an excellent opportunity for energetic, caring, and patient individuals who want to be involved in changing the life of a 5-year old boy! The student is an adorable, fun child, and we are looking to hire a dedicated ABA-SW to support him through kindergarten at his school in Cloverdale.
Successful applicants should be willing to begin working a minimum of 1 shift per week on the students home team starting immediately and will be willing to continue to work on the home team for your duration as his ABA-SW. Attendance at bi-weekly team meetings in a must! His program focuses on developing pre-academic, communication, and social skills and are supervised by our BCBA Michelle Karren.
Applicants must:
Have a minimum of 1000 supervised hours delivering ABA therapy by June 2014.
Have completed the Surrey College ABA-SW program or be willing to enroll by September 2014.
Be willing to attend bi-weekly team meetings at the students home.
Be 19 years of age or older with reliable transportation and a clear criminal record check
Be reliable, enthusiastic, and patient. The ideal candidate will bring a sense of fun and creativity to their teaching.
Be willing to make a minimum 1-year commitment.
Be available to start immediately.

The student is a high-functioning, fun, sweet child, and we are looking to hire a dedicated ABA-SW to support him through Grade 1 at his school in Cloverdale.

This is an excellent opportunity for energetic, caring, and patient individuals who want to be involved in changing the life of a 5-year old boy! He was recently diagnosed with PDD-NOS, and we are looking to hire a dedicated behaviour interventionist to join his home-based ABA program. Training in ABA teaching methods and data collection are an asset but not a requirement. It is more important that you are able to provide a caring and consistent teaching environment.
Successful applicants will be working in an established program under the guidance of a trained consultant with Little Mountain ABA. All training will be provided. Currently we are looking for someone who can run two sessions on the weekends. Session times are flexible and will try to accommodate the successful applicants schedule. Sessions are 2-3 hours long and successful candidates will be hired for 2 sessions per week plus 2 team meetings per month. Team meetings are alternating Thursdays from 4:00-6:00 and are mandatory for all team members.
