Therapists needed in Mount Pleasant area, Vancouver!!

We are looking for ENTHUSIASTIC and ENERGETIC people to join one or two of our two sons' well-established ABA teams!! Their programs include some one-on-one therapy on emotional skills, academic support, and social skills. You would also spend many shifts on fun community outings, and supporting peer play.

We are looking for people with lots of energy who can be very playful. Previous ABA experience and or knowledge of psychology would be an asset, but we are happy to provide training. Our teams are skillfully guided by our super behaviour concultant, Kim Kirsch from Early Autism Project.

You need your own transportation. We are very close to B-Line and other bus routes. Must have daytime and some weekend availability and you need to be able to commit to this job for a minimum of 1 year.

We can offer employment on one or both teams, so weekly hours could be between six and twelve. Bi-weekly 1 1/2 hr team meetings are mandatory. Both boys' meetings are back to back, so for both teams this meeting would be 3 hrs.

Current criminal record check required. Wages commensurate with experience.

Mount Pleasant – Very Bus Accessible!!!

Therapy positions available on two ABA teams. We have 3 children. The two boys are 4.5 and 6.5 years old. They are both inquisitive, playful, social and a lot of fun. The programs are running very well under the direction of EAP's Kim Kirsch and our wonderful lead therapist, Kelly Pohorelic. One year commitment required. Experience preferred but not necessary. Come and join the fun in-house and in the community!!

We are forming a 2nd Lovas ABA team in our home ASAP!! You will be working with a great little 5 year-old boy who loves to laugh and learn. His little brother has been in therapy under the direction of behavioural consultant Margot Squire for 7 months now with remarkable results. She will be guiding our new team as well.
