hi all! wow………I haven't read back into this [past months] recently……….many thanks to those who make this chat/discussion possible.
my only question is how I will access my funding for my 'soon to be teenager' with autism. [01/04/03] My therapists are reading for training/re-training. Because we dropped off the service due to lack of funds, we are now on a waitlist for autism partnership. What are my options? spbpt2002@yahoo.ca 604-467-8313

hey all….i HAVE to add a child anecdote here….first of all i am not getting all …these messages….i got dc's but not db's…i will look into this i wonder how long this has been occurring? mr. James who has had to be taught everything just surprised me….i am particularly tired tonight as i was a few miles behind the port mann accident this pm and 1 extra hour in the vehicle with this same son waiting. he integrated reasonably well in the neighbourhood (with my support) and was even sought out to trade THOSE cards. however after 3 hours straight i was growing weary….he announced abruptly (he rarely initiates things except junk food or stealing $$$$) that he would shower….to my delight and i sighed with relief….and he stayed in there 1/2 hour

especially to avery and david….you two really crack me up lol thank you so much for your recent postings…..those things really empower me……just a little whine….we have our best therapists around us again but i drastically cut back to few hours per week because our gov't in their wisdom de-listed us from the medical plan and i REMAIN unemployed……my cute story follows…..my deaf son, who remains a procious adolescent with autism may two huge leaps in the past week. as i am home and have time to bake and make porridge etc. etc. etc., my kids have me around when i'm not at the employment agency. one week ago…James approached the stove and straight faced….looked at the porridge and asked me if i thought he was a teddy bear….YOU STILL CANNOT WIPE THE SMIRK OFF MY FACE. [this is the socially inappropriate charmer who requires significant support to attend his brothers' or his own events]…..this week his communication book is full of details and scripts of how he taught the deaf kidnergarten class how to make pizza…….i should be grinning for weeks
