We are looking for a behaviour interventionist to join our well established team. Our child is 5 years old who is going to Kindergarten this September. We are looking for someone who is fun, engaging, and knows how to play!

We would like to start training this summer. The position will be 2-3 shifts per week, 2 – 2 1/2 hour sessions. In September, all of his hours will be after school. We live in Westwood Plateau area in Coquitlam.

Looking for a Behaviour Interventionist

Hours and days: Mon, Wed, Fri from 1130am-330pm
Location: South Burnaby

Job Description:
We are looking for a dedicated and loving BI to work with our son who is four years old. He is a very sweet and lovable boy! Schedule as posted would be for four hours, three times a week from September 2015 to June 2016 (excluding holidays, Christmas break and spring break).

We are wanting the candidate to be able to commit to at least six months and/or for the whole term posted. We feel this would be the most ideal for our son. You would be picking him up from preschool at 11:30am and would be taking him back to our place and/or community activities that we have arranged for him. Our consultant is Dr. Joan Broto, BCBA-D, with intern Angie Ho. Experience as a BI is not necessary, training can be provided by the ABA home team.

Job Requirements and Qualifications:
Class 5 driver’s License with a safe driving history
Emergency First Aid
Be willing to have a criminal record check
Preference will be given to those who have experience as a behaviour interventionist/support worker and or related experience with working with children who have special needs. Please also advise us of any training or schooling that you may have done as well.

Training and supervision will be provided by Dr. Joan Broto (BCBA-D) and intern Tracey Feenstra.

The session hours will be M-F 10-12 and 3-5 pm (the hours are flexible) and team meetings will be held during the day. Weekend sessions may be available.

We are looking for Behavior Interventionists to join an established ABA team. Our son, who is diagnosed with ASD, is 4 years old, very fun and lovable. We are working mostly on expanding his language and social skills.

We are located in Coquitlam, 5 minutes from the Highway. The candidate we are looking for must be 19 years old, has a criminal records check, and has daytime availabilities. We are also looking for someone who can provide at least 4-6 hours per week.

If you have experience, there is possibility to take over a lead position, and/or to go to the preschool in April.
