BURNABY SCHOOL DISTRICT CLOSE TO THE NEW WEST BORDER

ABA Therapist required in the Burnaby/ New west area to work with a hilarious, verbal, imaginative and affectionate 4 year old child who has ASD. One Year experience is REQUIRED because we are looking for someone to enter the school system full time with him this coming September. Sessions before my child enters school will be during school hours and will be 3 hours per session minimum 2 times a week. Pay is commensurate with experience. Training will be provided under the guidance of DR. SARA WHITE AND NORI HARRISON- WEISS.

Applicants must:
be responsible and energetic
be at least 19 years old
have a clear criminal record check
have reliable transportation
be available to attend team meetings
Commit for at least a year.
Be Cool with a terrible singing ( he loves to sing, but he can't carry a tune)

occasional streaking occurs in our house ( Not mom or dad… well not when there are people over haha) We had had a BI run out of the house because my child got naked in the bathroom and chased her. LOL
YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED !!

Knowledge of KIDS SONGS, KIDS SHOWS, and Queen lryics is not required but is an asset 😛

my current goals for my son are to prepare him for school !
increasing his communication skills, compliance, self help skills like washing hands, zipping his coat, wiping his own bum. appropriate boundaries and academic skills. He is a quick learner and has the potential to do amazing things and have incredible progress with the right consultant and with a comprehensive ABA MODEL he will !!
