—ABA EA available in Burnaby for September 2009-June 2010 School year—
Just posting to see if there are any families in Burnaby needing an EA 3 for this coming school year.
A bit of info:
I am currenly employed by Burnaby as an EA 3 (meaning over 1000 hours under a certified consultant) but am not assigned to a particular student.
I worked as an EA in Burnaby for the 2007-2008 school year and have taken this past school year off to do some travelling. If there are any Burnaby families whose child is not yet assigned to an EA 3 please don't hesitate to e-mail me at katya.ballos@gmail.com.
Thank you.
Katya BallosMemberHi my name is Katya Ballos and I have been an ABA therapist for the last 4 years. I am posting here because I am interested in working with an additional family and am really keen, when the time is right, to be trained to become a lead therapist.
I have a passion for ABA and have worked with two different consultants and have seen great things with the kids Ive worked with. Also, I have attended several FEAT workshops (both beginner and intermediate).
I am currently working for the Burnaby School District as an ABA aide with a boy in grade one. My availability is any time after 4pm Monday to Friday and also potentially on weekends.
I live in Mount Pleasant (near Fraser and 14th) and get around using transit and am looking for a family that either lives in or near Mount Pleasant or near a Skytrain station.
Please contact me if you are looking for a therapist to train to become a future lead on your team. You can reach me at katya.ballos@gmail.com and let me know about your child and team and I can let you know more about my qualifications and also give references if needed.
