Looking for Behavioral Interventionists to work with our new team, supporting a 3-year-old child with mild autism. He is a sweet little boy, and very high functioning. We are in Vancouver, close to Main and 16th Ave.

This position includes an opportunity for BCBA/BCABA Supervision, provided by Michelle Karren who has over 16 years of experience in ABA and is a qualified BCBA supervisor.

HOURS OF WORK:

– Flexible schedule; Please indicate your availability when applying.

– Applicants must commit to a minimum of two, 2-hour sessions per week, plus attending team meetings every 2 weeks for an 8-month period.

We are currently looking for applicants who can work within the following roles:

1. Preschool aide:
– Mon-Fri 9:15 – 11:15 until end of June, 2016
– Location by Cambie and 25th, easily accessible by transit.

2. Home based behavioral interventionist:
– Mon-Fri afternoons, flexibility around times
– Sat/Sun sessions
– Location is close to Main and 16th, easily accessible by transit.

Training Provided & Opportunities for Case Manager/Team lead roles for the right applicants.

MINIMUM EDUCATIONAL & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
– Fluent in English.

– Experience working as a BI and with children is an asset but not required.

– Applicants in Psychology, Special Education, Early Childhood Education, Education and Speech and Language Pathology are encouraged to apply.

– Candidates are required to be self-motivated, extremely reliable, loving, fun enthusiastic, and possess excellent communication skills.

– Minimum age for applicants is 19.

– Commitment of a minimum of 4 hours per week plus team meetings for at least 8 months.

– Clear criminal record check completed within the last 12 months.

WAGE: Hourly wage will depend on experience and training considerations.
