Hi, I am posting on behalf of a research study at the Autism and Developmental Disabilities Lab at Simon Fraser University. (If this is considered inappropriate content please let me know!)

Do you have a child with Autism Spectrum Disorder between the ages of 7 and 12 years old? Would you like a chance to win a new Apple iPad? The Autism and Developmental Disorders Lab is currently looking for parents and their children to complete a fun, 30-minute study! The study can be completed in the comfort of your own home through a short 30-minute visit at your home from the study investigator, Hilary Aime. You will be asked to complete a few short questionnaires and then do some fun activities with your child, including learning how to build origami figures. Your participation is important to understanding how children learn differently, and therefore informs our knowledge of the best methods with which to teach them. As a thank you for your time and effort, you will be entered into a draw to win a new Apple iPad with a 1 in 50 chance to win! Please contact the study investigator, Hilary Aime, at haime@sfu.ca for more information.

Hi my name is Spencer Angus, and I am a 19 year old student. For the past year and a half I have been working with a 17 year old Autistic teenager, as her Community Applied Behavior Analysis Therapist. I find this job interesting, fun, and rewarding, and I am planning to pursue ABA Therapy as a career. I attended the University of British Columbia-Okanagan Campus last year, and I am going to take a year off from school to further my experience, and learning in the field. I am transferring to Capilano University next year (September 2012). I would love the opportunity to work with an ABA/behavioral therapy team as that experience would be invaluable.

I am living on the North Shore by the Lonsdale Quay and seabus. I travel by public transit, and do not drive. I am willing to travel to Surrey. The autistic teen I have been working with has been working a very successful ABA program for 12 years. Please feel free to contact me any time at spencerangus@hotmail.com

Hey everyone sorry for the somewhat vague posting earlier. This will be my last one on here for a while.
